Split a PDF
One PDF per page, or one PDF per customer: group pages by a label such as an account or invoice number.
How grouping works:
- Open your PDF and find the short label printed in front of the code on every page. If a page shows A/C NO 300A0123, the label is A/C NO and 300A0123 is the code. The code itself changes from customer to customer; the label stays the same.
- Type the label (not the code) in the box above, spelt as it is printed. Capitals do not matter, and a dot or colon after it is fine.
- Press Split PDF. All pages carrying the same code are collected into one file named after it, for example 300A0123.pdf, delivered together in a zip.
Works with account numbers, invoice numbers, customer codes and similar. Tick the box above to also add the name printed below the label, for example 300A0123 - SYARIKAT MAJU SDN BHD.pdf. Pages where no code can be read are kept too, in their own clearly named PDF, so no page is ever lost.
Per page mode produces page-001.pdf, page-002.pdf and so on. Group mode reads the text printed on each page, so scanned PDFs without selectable text cannot be grouped.
